According to the "rules" for Week-End Themes, we're not limited to graphics. We can use a variety of materials as our springboard to creativity. In that light, I'm offering Part 1 of this week's theme: some .wav clips to get you going.
I thought it would be interesting to see what the group comes up with using a quote as a starting point.

Originally, I was going to post only an assortment of .wav files for the WET, but then I remembered President's Day is on Monday. So I'm giving you some pictures to work with if you want.

(For our group members in other countries, just in case you didn't know, President's Day is a holiday to commemorate the birthdays of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.)

So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen--take your pick of parts and have fun. I can't wait to see what this creative group comes up with!

A note about this photo: It was taken by Alexander Gardner on April 10, 1865--four days before Lincoln's assassination. The plate cracked during the development, and Gardner made only one print, then destroyed the plate.
